Springline Ltd have been involved with many of Northamptonshire's shoemaking brands, since its inception in 1982 creating shoe lasts for individuals and companies. Measuring and making bespoke lasts and shoes is a very personal process for the maker and the client and Springline Ltd have created lasts for a number of celebrities. Springline contacted a range of people that are from or associated with Northampton, making bespoke lasts which led to a bespoke pair of shoes being made as after all Northampton is famous for shoes. The exhibition includes the lasts and shoes of Idris Elba, Alan Carr, the Reverend Richard Coles, Ellie Robinson, King Charles III and many other celebrities. |
