Researching the Northamptonshire Regiment

As the holders of the Regimental collection Northampton Museums and Art Galleries can help provide information for your family research and enquiries. You may also wish to share your research by adding it to the military archive.

Other organisations that can help

We do not not hold official individual personal service records of officers and soldiers. The military records of soldiers for before 1920 that survive can be obtained from the National Archives. They also hold the First World War Medal Cards Index and this can be searched for a small fee. The military records of soldiers serving after 1920 can be obtained by relatives from the Army Personnel Centre. They may be able to assist you further with your enquiry but there will be a charge for their service.
