Description

Students use footwear spanning time and cultures to explore the influence of fashion, occupation, status, wealth, climate and technology on shoe design and manufacture.

Using the shoes and resources provided with the box students build up a picture of the life of the people from around the world and in the past that may have worn the shoes. They will create a display give a presentation to share their findings. 

This resource may also be used to complement a visit to the museum for one of our shoe related sessions as either pre or post visit classroom activities.
