	An incomplete silver Groat of Henry VI (AD 1422-1461). First reign. Annulet issue. Long cross reverse with legend in two fields. Calais mint. AD 1422-1427. Small portions of the outer flan has been clipped. Obverse: hEn[RIC]xDIxG[R]AxREXx[AnGLx]FRAnC Crowned bust facing, within a tressure of nine arches, annulet to either side of neck. Reverse: POSVI/DEVMxA/DIVTOR/ExMEVM//VIL/LAx/CALI/SIEx Long cross dividing the inscription with three pellets in each quadrant, annulet in two quadrants. Cross 2 initial mark.
