Description |
Using our extensive collection of objects related to shoemaking, students will learn about the intricate process of making shoes by hand. |
They will learn about each of the many processes and tools that a shoemaker uses to make shoes by hand. There will be an opportunity through different activities to handle each of the pieces of equipment and tools, all of which are original museum objects. This session is a great way for your students to find out more about the local area and the history of shoe making in Northampton. |
