Leathercraft
The Leathercraft Collection contains objects from across the world made from leather and celebrating inspirational design. Dedicated to leather-crafting in all its forms, the 10,000 objects range from pre-history through to the present day. The collection begins in 40,000BCE, in Neolithic Britain and ancient Egypt and Rome, through the Middle Ages to the Civil War era, the Georgians, and into the modern day.
Where to see the leathercraft Collection
There is no dedicated Leathercraft Gallery. Objects from the collection may be included in temporary exhibitions in Art Gallery 1 and 2 and at Abington Park Museum.
