Emma Turner

I'm a mosaic artist based in Market Harborough on the Northamptonshire-Leicestershire border. With a background in art and design, including studies in ceramics, sculpture and photography, I have worked across a variety of creative disciplines. My current practice focuses on mosaic art, creating unique pieces from reclaimed china, glass, ceramic tiles and other found materials. Sustainability is central to my work, with many pieces made on upcycled surfaces. Inspired by nature, I depict birds, bees, mammals and botanical forms. I regularly exhibit with Northants and Rutland Open Studios and at galleries and art events across the UK.
