Gabrielle Richardson

I live in Burton Latimer, Northamptonshire, and have been working with clay for over 20 years. I studied ceramics at Tresham College, completing my City & Guilds qualification.

Pottery is my creative outlet, and I enjoy exploring different techniques and styles. My work is both decorative and functional, including brightly coloured sgraffito bowls and jugs, small hand-painted bowls and jugs with a retro feel, and fun sculptures, particularly my elephants.

My current work includes Saggar firing, using chemicals, organic materials, oxides and copper wire to create unique effects. Each piece is individually made and reflects my enjoyment of clay, colour and
texture.
