Trevor Wilcox

I am a Northampton-based artist, born and raised in the town. After studying art at GCSE and A-Level, with a focus on graphic design, I spent time exploring glass painting before pursuing degrees in Business and Law. Returning to art in my late thirties, I discovered a passion for oil painting and have since created over 150 works, selling more than 120. My colourful style is strongly influenced by geometric design and Cubism, drawing inspiration from artists including Picasso, Matisse and Fernand Léger. This exhibition showcases work created mainly within the past year.
