We partnered with Opal 22 on the Knowledge of the Unseen project. This project was initiated by Opal 22 and funded by the National Heritage Lottery Fund. The focus of the project was helping to re-connect British post-colonial communities with ancestral history using objects in the Northampton Museum and Art Gallery collection. The group chose six objects held in the collections to research and investigate further. The project sought to understand the people that made the objects, what they were used for, how they were created and why. This journey was documented through photography, an exhibition and a film. |
