This wall hanging was commissioned by the former Friends of Northampton Museums and Art Gallery group and was designed by Northampton born textile artist Constance Howard. This spectacular hanging celebrates the Northampton collection showing footwear and costume from 1700 – 1960. St. Crispin is in the centre holding up a shoe in each hand.
