Check out upcoming events for families
At weekends and during school holidays, we run a range of playful, creative and inspiring workshops that bring the stories in the collection to life at Abington Park Museum and Northampton Museum and Art Gallery.
Family friendly refreshments
The Café at Northampton Museum and Art Gallery serves a range of freshly prepared hot and cold meals as well as kids meals and lunchboxes. High chairs are available.
When the weather is nice you can also picnic in the park surrounding Abington Park Museum or in the courtyard at Northampton Museum and Art Gallery.
There is a baby changing space on the ground floor at Abington Park Museum and on all floors at Northampton Museum and Art Gallery. Parents are welcome to breastfeed or bottle-feed anywhere on both museum's grounds and buildings. Should parents wish for more privacy, the baby changing spaces can be used.
