We offer a range of opportunities for teachers to get involved with us. Information on planning a visit, ways to improve your knowledge, skills and understanding through CPD training sessions and workshops, and helping us to develop the services on offer to you.
Teacher training and CPD
Our varied continuing professional development (CPD) programme and training events, enables teachers to enhance their own learning and make the most of using the resources and services offered by the museum.
Our programme of events for teachers supports them to:
- increase their knowledge of history topics
- gain experience and confidence of visiting museums
- increase their understanding of how to use our resources and collections
- add value to classroom teaching
Our CPD sessions all offer hands-on learning, behind the scenes access, and networking opportunities.
