Drop-in and find out about Northamptonshire’s connection to D-Day. Meet our costumed re-enactor depicting a local Northampton soldier serving in D-Day. View selections of uniforms equipment/kitand handle objects all related to the roles played by the different forces. Hear stories about the local people involved in D-Day and the Northamptonshire Yeomanry. Find out what was happening on the home front at the time. Watch films and view objects from the period. Find out about the role played by Northampton airfields and the RAF and USAAF. Our military enquiry volunteers will be on hand to answer your queries about your military ancestors.
