Oh we do like to be beside the seaside – fun in the sun, kiss-me-quick hats and donkey rides, one-armed bandits and jukebox jives. Jump back in time with Masque Theatre for a 1950s seaside trip unlike any other, with Shakespeare's beloved comedy Twelfth Night (or What You Will).
Besotted casino owner Orsino is determined to marry holiday park manager Olivia, but she doesn't feel the same - she's far more interested in Orsino's new employee, Cesario. However, Cesario is really the recently shipwrecked Viola in disguise as a boy, and she's fallen in love with Orsino! Add in drunken relatives, mistaken identities, a hushed up marriage - even a duel - and you have a recipe for a summer holiday you'll never forget!
The team behind Masque 2022’s summer smash hit Richard III - John Myhill and Rebecca Cockcroft - are back in the directing seat for what promises to be a season of Midsummer Madness
