Areas of interest

Romans and archaeology

Using a range of original and replica objects, one of our trained facilitators will lead your students in an interactive, enquiry-based discovery of the Romans.

Shoe history

An exciting and engaging session for both Key Stage 1 and 2 students.

Shoemaking

Using our extensive collection of objects related to shoe making, key stage 2 students will develop an understanding of the many processes of making shoes by hand.

Toys

A great introduction to history for very young children, this session gives them access to a range of toys from the past.

Tudors

In this facilitated session using objects from our handling collection students will learn about family life in Tudor times.

World War Two

Our facilitators will engage your students in an exploration of what life was like on the Home Front and how people were affected by the War.
