Coronation Community Festival
Saturday 6 May
10am - 4pm
Guildhall Road, Northampton Town Centre

Northampton will join towns and cities around the country in celebrating the Coronation of His Majesty The King and Her Majesty The Queen Consort. As part of the big bank holiday weekend of Coronation Celebrations taking place across the county, Northampton Town Council will host a Community Festival in the heart of our town on Saturday 6th May on Guildhall Road.

To celebrate this momentous event, our residents are invited to come together with friends, family and the local community to mark this historic occasion and join us for the first of three days of national celebrations.
The schedule of activities will include live stage entertainment from community groups and local performers, children's activities and collaborative workshops, roaming entertainers and morris dancers, local street food stands and seating area as well as live coverage of the Coronation on big screens.

In partnership with West Northants Council, Northampton BID, Northampton Museum and Art Gallery, The Performing Room, 78 Derngate, local organisations and venues, we plan to showcase the town's diverse culture and heritage through music, dance, arts and creative workshops that champion our community whilst paying tribute to the King's commitment to support sustainability, biodiversity and the natural world.
