We're delighted to share an exciting line-up of exhibitions and events at Northampton Museum and Art Gallery and Abington Park Museum.
As we move from summer to autumn, it’s your last chance to see Titanic: Honour and Glory closing 15 September and Elmer and Friends closing 8 September. We are excited to introduce two new exhibitions that delve into Northampton's rich history and culture. Shaped By Shoes: The Northamptonshire Shoe Industry explores the fascinating history of Northampton's most iconic product shoes! Discover how shoes have shaped the identity and industry of the town and region over the centuries. Dissent: Art and Protest in Northamptonshire explores the long history of protest in Northampton, from the Bradlaugh riots of the late 19th century to contemporary protest movements. Through powerful art, Dissent highlights the enduring spirit of resistance and activism in our community. As well as this we have a full programme of events and activities, with something for all interests. We look forward to welcoming you to these exhibitions and events
