Join us on Saturday 17 May to commemorate the 80th Anniversary of VE Day.

Families are invited to come along to take part in two activities in commemoration of Victory in Europe on 8 May in 1945.

Staying Alive in ‘45

It’s 1945, and victory in Europe is within reach. Are you ready to join the final push and earn your tea and medals?

  • There’ll be a quiz to find out if you’re better suited to the Army, Navy, or Air Force!
  • Try on a uniform and feel like a wartime hero.
  • Handle military tools, crack Morse code, identify aircraft, and more!
  • Test your agility skills and speed on the assault course.

Suitable for children from 5 years of age.

Military Enquiries Session

While the kids enjoy the activities, other family members can meet military experts to learn more about the history of the Northamptonshire Yeomanry or Regiment.

Whether you have an ancestor who served, a military item to explore or a family story to uncover, we’re here to help you discover the past.

Bring your family for an exciting, interactive day filled with history and adventure. We can’t wait to see you there!
