This summer, young warriors are invited to step into the sandals of ancient Rome’s fiercest fighters at Gladiator Training School, a thrilling new event at Northampton Museum & Art Gallery.

Taking place on Tuesday 12 & 26 August — this exciting experience offers children aged 5 and up the chance to train like Roman legionaries and gladiators.

Sessions run from 11am to 12pm, 1pm to 2pm, and 2:30pm to 3:30pm, with tickets priced at just £6 per child.

Participants will:

  • Handle replica Roman weapons!
  • Train in the art of ancient combat.
  • Complete warrior bootcamp challenges.
  • Enter the arena for a gladiator-style showdown!
